The beginning of this year marks the end of an era for us. Brice and I are now playing together in LETHVM so it makes no sense for us to continue ROPE&BONES at the moment.

To thank you for your support during all those years, we want to share with you our last concept album 'ULALUME'.

There are two ideas behind the album :
- The search for new sounds: the recording was done on my first guitar, a low-end instrument, which is more than 20 years old, of which only 5 strings have stood the test of time. The guitar tuning was done randomly and changed with each piece. The goal was to seek beauty through an instrument that dictates its own law.
- The text is a free interpretation of the poem «Ulalume» by Edgar Alan Poe. This walk through the darkness of the night echoed in us.
